Differences, big and small

In one way Christianity was different from other Pagan religions -- it was exclusive. It was intolerant. Early Christians couldn't stand other religions -- so they destroyed them. Christianity succeeded by Darwinian selection.

Christianity also had a different attitude about sex.

Some folks say Christianity was misogynist -- that because it lacked a female Goddess it denigrated women. Well, maybe. My take is that in day-to-day life pretty much every culture gives women the crappy jobs.
